Volvo’s Nyberg to speak at TMC

NybergGöran Nyberg, president, North America sales and marketing at Volvo Trucks, has been announced as a keynote speaker for ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) fall meeting in September.

Nyberg has held various positions in the transportation industry, including a stint as a log truck driver, and now holds the title president of North American sales and marketing for Volvo Trucks. TMC says Nyberg has extensive experience leading dealer sales and distribution activities and has served in various management positions around the globe. He earned an engineering degree from Technical Gymnasium in Sundsvall, Sweden, and has completed executive leadership programs in Sweden and Belgium.

Nyberg is passionate about emerging technologies, improvements in safety regarding equipment and people, and environmental standards which just happen to be the three core values of Volvo: Quality, Safety and Environmental Care.

Nyberg will speak at TMC’s industry luncheon at 11:30 a.m., Sept. 23, 2014 at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort in Orlando.
