Wheeling Truck Center wins export award

Representatives of Wheeling Truck Center were recently awarded the President’s E Award, the highest honor a company, organization or an individual can earn for contributing to the expansion of U.S. export trade.

Lyn Doverspike, director of the Pittsburgh office of the U.S. Commercial Service, applauded the company for boosting its export efforts. According to the Observer-Reporter, the company now exports to 94 countries, which accounts for more than $2 million annually and allowed the company to add three new employees.

Wheeling Truck Center is a full-service Volvo truck dealer based on West Virginia.

The newspaper noted Wheeling’s export efforts were born from a inquiry via the company’s website in 2010.
