Tri State Truck Center Freightliner/Western Star and McDevitt Trucks with its affiliate, Patriot Freightliner, Western Star, have joined forces to form Advantage Truck Group LLC (ATG).
ATG, with its six locations, creates a comprehensive customer service network across central New England, including New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts, and is dedicated to providing an unprecedented customer experience to Freightliner, Western Star and all trucking customers, according to an announcement. Their combined 75 years of dedication to New England’s trucking customers will serve to enhance customer satisfaction with a broadened, consistent network across the region.
Effective immediately, Patriot and Tri State will operate under Advantage Truck Group, with locations in Shrewsbury and Westfield, Mass., and Westminster, Vt. McDevitt Trucks will include its locations in Manchester and Lancaster, N.H., and Tewksbury, Mass., in the ATG network.
Customers will benefit from a combined workforce of 120 factory-authorized technicians, modern parts call center and expanded delivery network, “Warranty on Wheels,” consistent parts pricing and credit policies.
In addition, the Shrewsbury and Westfield locations are Elite Support certified with the other locations soon to follow. Elite Support is a program unique to Freightliner and Western Star that requires dealerships to undergo a rigorous continuous improvement process to ensure the highest standards in service and efficiency, according to an announcement.
Kevin Holmes, currently president of Tri State, will lead ATG as president and CEO. Jack and Kevin McDevitt will continue to lead McDevitt Trucks. The principals are joined by their 300-plus employees in committing to a strong future and professional, dedicated and courteous support for New England’s truck community.
“The Advantage Truck Group combines two of the best truck dealers in the New England area that have been in business for decades working to provide Freightliner and Western Star customers the support they need to run their businesses’, says Holmes. “By combining our strengths of focusing on servicing the customer, being dedicated to Elite Support and increasing our reach, the customer will be the big winner from this partnership.”
