Rush to sponsor NASCAR’s Stewart for three races

Three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart has added Rush Truck Centers as a primary car sponsor for three races this season. 

Rush Enterprises, which operates the largest network of commercial vehicle dealerships in North America, will be on the hood of the No. 14 Chevrolet SS March 24 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., April 7 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway and April 27 at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway.

Rush Truck Centers will be an associate sponsor on the No. 14 Chevrolet SS with placement on the B-pillar and lower-rear quarter-panel for the remainder of the race schedule. 

“We’ve been doing business with Rush Truck Centers for years. It’s an established relationship that will now have a much higher profile thanks to their decision to become a primary sponsor with the No. 14 team,” said Stewart, co-owner of SHR with Haas Automation founder Gene Haas. “Rush Truck Centers keeps our trucks and transporters in great condition, and you could argue those are the most important parts of our race team. Without them, our cars never get to the racetrack. The employees of Rush Truck Centers are as detail-oriented as we are, and they play a critical role in the success of our race team.”

Rush picked a sweet spot in the schedule to join Stewart’s team as primary sponsor. He’s twice won at Fontana and three times each at Richmond and Martinsville.
