According to Reuters’ source, Cummins is working with an investment bank to prepare to run an auction for its filtration business in the next two months, and is requesting anonymity because the matter is confidential.
This news comes on the heels of another lackluster month of new truck orders, with FTR and ACT Research both predicting just 19,000+ orders in November, which still puts 2016 well behind 2015 and other recent years.
Cummins declined to comment on the report.
