Treadway has supported and contributed to several organizations, including the Salt Lake Community Council, Utah Masters Swimming, Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Stansbury Elementary School and the Granite Education Association.
In addition, Kenworth Sales Company asks all employees to select a local charity to support each year. The dealership then provides financial and logistical support to facilitate fundraising, distributions and community awareness.
Most recently, the company co-sponsored a national tour of a World Trade Towers 9/11 artifact by providing the Kenworth T660 to bring the exhibit from the East Coast.
The 2014 Truck Dealer of the Year and runner-up will be announced Saturday, Jan. 25, during the 51st annual ATD Convention and Expo, which runs concurrently with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention and Expo in New Orleans from Jan. 24-27.
